The Constant
Only writers as brilliant as those behind “LOST” could give us an hour of television like this. No other episode has gone as far as “The Constant” in giving us a look at some fundamental theories behind the series, and … Continue reading

Eggtown
Tonight’s episode wasn’t as dense or thrilling as weeks past, but it still closed with a single word, a single name, that scored a palpable hit. Aaron, Claire’s baby, is one of the Oceanic Six… but calls Kate mommy. And … Continue reading

The Economist
Another fantastic episode. And the details are almost as exciting as the overall pace “LOST” is keeping. This season is no leisurely stroll (you hear me, season two?). This show is now lean, mean, and likely to leave you dizzy. … Continue reading

Trans 2008-02-08: “Confirmed Dead” – Episode 4-02
This episode of “The Transmission” follows the Feb. 7 episode, “The Beginning of the End” (Episode 4×02). We once again take the “LOST in 8 Minutes” challenge, then take a closer look at the story. Who are the “Freighties” and what brings each of them to The Island? What do their names mean? Why does so much of what we’re seeing now seem familiar? And what was the deal with that cow? Then, we turn it over to You All Everybody, where the real genius emerges. Finally, a very short visit to the Forward Cabin. Continue reading

Confirmed Dead
Now that was a season premiere. Without a doubt, “Confirmed Dead” got my mind spinning and my heart pounding the way I expected last week’s episode would. Tightly paced, great twists and surprises, and real drama. “The Beginning of the … Continue reading

Trans 2008-02-04: “The Beginning of the End” – Episode 4-01
This episode of The Transmission follows the Jan. 31 episode, The Beginning of the End, the Season 4 premiere of LOST. Since we obviously can’t stop thinking and talking about LOST, Jen suggested we give podcasting another shot. But for better or worse, we’ve thrown the script out the window. Obviously we’re a bit rusty, but we still had fun, and hopefully you will too. Is this a leaner, meaner Transmission? Is this a one-off fluke? Is this a horrible mistake? Only time will tell. For the precious few that are still subscribed, enjoy! Continue reading
