You mentioned in the podcast that it isn’t clear why Locke gave Sayid Charlotte when he didn’t have to. But in the episode Sayid told Locke he could get onto the ship, if he brings back Charlotte. Locke gets a little grin on his face. So I think he wants his own spy aboard the ship.

  3. Debudavid says:

once again many thanks for a great show!

  4. guest says:

    thanks for the show.
Since I live in europe I recongized some of Bens money as EURO, which exist since 2001 ( i think).

  5. Pali says:

SWEEEEEET! thanks for another great podcast… Ryan, you are now my ‘pusher’ of all things lost 🙂

damn this waiting another 6 days for the next episode!!!

thanks again for coming back you two.

Hey, it’s Clayton from KITV! Glad to hear you again! While the Official Lost Podcast is currently now a video podcast with features that I expect to find in a future DVD set, we all know we can get our fix here instead. I wonder if the writers strike included podcasts?

As for the time anomaly, the only thing we learned from the experiment is that there is 31 minutes of unaccounted time for the payload. The payload clock thinks time is 31 minutes ahead of the actual (or island) time. That doesn’t necessarily mean it took the payload 31 minutes to get there, although I wouldn’t rule that theory out either.

Daniel Faraday also told Frank to stay on the same bearing no matter what. The last time we heard something like that is when Ben told Michael to stay on a certain bearing and he would find rescue. So, for some odd reason, if you can’t stay on a certain bearing, you can’t sail or fly away or to the island. That’s also backed up by Michael and Sawyer seemingly to float back to the island on the raft and Desmond who can’t seem to sail away from the island.

  7. jarofclay73 says:

    Jen,

If it’s any consolation, I’m also a “Skater”, but for different reasons.

I feel that if Jack gets romantically involved with anyone on the island, it should be Juliet. It seems like there is a bond and chemistry with Juliet that Jack never had with Kate. And, evidently, bearded Jack is no longer hot to Kate in the future.

I think Kate’s bond with Sawyer was solidified early in Season 3. No matter how many times they fight, they end up back with each other. And it seems like her relationship with Sawyer is the least dysfunctional.

So, Jack ends up with Juliet and Kate ends up with Sawyer. Everyone’s happy right?

  8. George says:

I’m so excited that you are back to the podcast… I started watching Lost after the first season (caught up on iTunes) and it was your podcast that got me to really enjoy the show. I love the HawaiiUP podcast also.

Thanks again for the return to the airwaves.

  9. Halley says:

    MAANNN.
This has bothered me ever since the second episode when we first meet Daniel Faraday.
Jack, Kate, and Daniel stumble upon gas masks and other radioactive materials.
Isn’t that what Ben used to kill of Dharma?
I haven’t heard anyone talking about this, but it’s something to think about.
Maybe the Freighter Four are there to seek revenge on Ben for what he did to the Dharma Initiative.

  10. cat says:

Ryan and Jen, any thoughts as to the “dog” sightings? Vincent obviously has a connection with Jack’s father and there was a picture on Jacob’s wall and in the Economist, there is a shot of a dog in the vet clinc. I’m sure this all connected but am at a bit of a loss to understand what it all means? Maybe Vincent travels through the space time continum? Insights appreciated!

  11. Julie says:
