There’s so much more we should have said, and yet we know we could never have said enough. “The Transmission” must end, but we hope you’ve enjoyed the ride at least half as much as we have. We’ll never be able to fully thank you for sharing your love of “Lost” with us, and for making our little show something truly remarkable. We look forward to joining you in the fantastic “Lost” fan community, and to tuning in to the “Lost Podcasting Network” for our fix of some true LostCasting talent. Mahalo a nui loa, and aloha.

Early Warning

Tuesday, January 24th, 2006

Aloha, “Transmission” listeners! We’re a day away from our next new episode, but things in our sector of the island have been a little crazy lately. And, on top of this confluence of chaos, it appears that Ryan has even contracted “the sickness.” (Well, at least a really bad flu bug.) We beg your patience and understanding as we muddle through.

Perhaps we’ll be able to put out a “shortwave” episode to at least keep the “LostLine” conversations bubbling. You guys are smarter than we are, anyway!

Next week is a re-run, and while that’s horrible news for “Lost” fans, it’ll hopefully give us extra time to sort things out. We remain utterly humbled and inspired by your support and enthusiasm! Namaste, good luck, and stay ‘Lost’!

Trans 2006-01-18: “The Hunting Party” – Episode 2-11

The episode of “The Transmission” follows the Jan. 18 episode, “The Hunting Party.” Jack, Locke and Sawyer pursue a determined Michael after he heads into the jungle toward the dreaded “Others” in search of Walt. Meanwhile, Sun has a surprising reaction to Jin’s desire to join the search party, and Hurley and Charlie commiserate over the age-old conundrum of “what women want.” Sawyer’s alias is challenged, Alvar Hanso is quoted, and Jack prepares to go to war. Alex? Zeke? Geronimo Jackson? Lots of names, lots of possibilities.  Got comments?

Our first new episode of 2006, and it’s a great one. Mr. Eko interrogates Charlie about the Virgin Mary statue, Claire begins to lose faith in Charlie when she discovers his secret, and Jack is an interested observer when Kate gives the recovering Sawyer a much-needed haircut. Stick around for some cast sightings, filming location news, and a quick chat with Walt.  Got comments?

Happy New Year! At long last, our third “hiatuscast,” a special edition of “The Transmission” for the winter break. In this show, we check out just a few of the great websites out there devoted to “Lost.” Discussion boards, official sites, great resources, and finally, a unique tour of the “Lost” podcasting community. We chat about one last theory, and of course share a few interesting updates on upcoming episodes in the “Forward Cabin.” Finally, in our LostLine segment, we’ve got half an hour of great stuff, from season two reviews, to theories and responses to our “Theorycast,” and much more. We’re only a few days away from our next new episode, but the last stretch of “Lost” withdrawal is sometimes the hardest. Thanks for listening.  Got comments?
