With only a couple of weeks of learning and searching, I cannot begin to say how happy and humbled I am to have found a number of local artists willing to give podcasting a chance. The growing `ohana of artists is already so diverse and strong, HawaiiUP could probably go all-music and still have enough great stuff for another dozen shows. But to prolong the goodness, I’m afraid you won’t be rid of my rambling just yet.
While I pull together my next show, be sure to check out the new HawaiiUP Music page, to get a preview of the great sounds in store.
I lived on Oahu withmy ex (Me, Waikiki Parkside & Burns Security (Human Resources Mgr), he – Ramp Service at United Airlines) during OniPa’a and took a b&w photograph of Iolani Palace draped in black in the early nineties. 100th year after the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Monarchy. Heavy!
ThePrimeSpot (demographic to LONG BEACH, SoCaLifornia) a-n-d TPSradio.org (NOT TPS, TrailerParkSports.com, although I told them they should start podcasting!) will podcast soon; we just did California’s Beercast in LB!
I basically have the content, similar to yours, but up to 4 years old and “sitting” on minidisk. When I checked out your site after your post to the podcasts group, I came upon a place to send Hawaii Tourists – and wannabees!
If ever in Long Beach, leave a message or travel question on the Hotline: 562-804-5625. Looking forward to catching a Willie K or Makana Show live here on the mainland again!
