    Hi Ryan and Jen,
Thanks for the excelent podcast, I’ve listened every single one and they were all very enjoyable. I hope everything works out well for you in real life and a heartly Aloha!!!

  2. Graeme Nash says:

    This is really bad news!

I am seriously hoping there’s not some “other” reason as to the demise of this superb podcast??

Either way, would it be wrong for me to suggest a petition gets underway to bring back the transmission??

I realise you, Ryan and Jen, are just two normal people with lives and jobs and as little free time as the rest of us but come on, finish the series with us?

Or just do a fortnightly podcast? Half its length, don’t bother with the recaps section… there MUST be an answer???

I want you back, sorry, its that straight. You guys are great accompaniments to the show and I miss you :o(

    BRING BACK RYAN AND JEN!!!!

    why why why
you guys should come back! please! work will be so boring now.

  6. Daniel says:

This is very unfortunate…hopefully you can have some special podcasts after the season or during the hiatus. It won’t be the same…

  7. norm007 says:

keep the transmission on by making it a pay site…

  8. JKarp says:

Thank you both for all your time and efforts! I sincerely hope ABC realizes you guys have done more for the show Lost than any dozen Robert Palmer dubbed superbowl ads could!

    Mahalo!

  9. Constant Irritant says:

    Oh, geez!

Like lots of folks have already said, yours was the first podcast I ever listened to. You set the standard for what I expected of other ‘casts, and I’ve been mostly disappointed.

I idly wondered how much work must go into your shows, and I guess the answer is, “too much to have a real life, too.” Family has to come first. (Hey – you didn’t get a case of the guilts from Charlie, did you?)

Please consider random acts of podcasts when you have the urge. You have a lot of folks who’ll be listening and hoping.

    Aloha and mahalo. Take care!

  10. JC says:

    Jen and Ryan –
Will really miss the show!!! Hearing you talk about living in Hawaii really makes me want to vacation there some day.
Good luck to you both in all your endeavors.

  11. Tim says:

    Ryan & Jen,
Many thanks for hours of work on your EXCELLENT podcast, the best LOST podcast out of the several that I listen to regularly. We are all going to miss something from this wonderful show we have embraced.

Mahalo a nui loa, and aloha

    Hey Ryan and Jen,
I was saddened to hear about the end of The Transmission. I thoroughly enjoyed your podcast every week and will miss it a lot!! Good luck and I hope to hear you soon.

WHY? Guys! You guys have the best Lost podcast out there! Please continue it!

  15. Brett says:

    Ryan & Jen,

I’ve been busy this past week, so I’m a little behind on catching up on the podcasts I listen to. When I listened to yours last night I felt so sad. I have enjoyed your podcast very very much. You guys seem to have a lot of fun with it and you’ve been very successful. I know I told everyone I know about it. It was a pleasure listening to you…you’ve given me some tips on my own podcast. My goal is to model it after your success. I think it’s a great plan to go by. Anyway, just wanted to wish you the best of luck. Take care of yourselves and best wishes. You have made “Lost” even more enjoyable for me and countless others.

We all everybody’s gonna miss you guys!

    Brett

Tell me this is all a dream, and that I’ll wake up Thursday morning, and have my coffee, and go to your website, and there it will be. A new podcast ready and waiting……………..maybe if I go to sleep now…..early……….remember when you were a kid, and you would go to sleep early on Christmas Eve, so that Christmas Day would get here faster!!……………….no?………..oh well. In that case I agree with the person above make it a paysite and you’ll have lots of customers.

  18. stacey says:

Sign my name on the petition to get you not to stop!!! PLEASE! Life will no longer be worth living without your podcast….I miss you already.

  19. Diane says:

I am sad that the transmission is over–what a spectacular podcast! Thanks for keeping me in the loop with Lost. I will miss you!

I am so sad to hear that you were leaving. Yes there are other lost pod cast but I loved your set up. I realy hope that when your life settles down you might come back agian. I would not mind even hearing it during the summer. I am too busy with my own life so I understand why you have to quite. HOwever I am also too busy to sit and read forums so this is how I kept up. So Please come back when you can!!!!

  22. Dan says:

Would you guys come back if we gave you a couple bucks a month for a subscription?

  23. Karyn J says:

I will miss you guys so much. You have become part of the family and make watching “Lost” so much more accessible. I hope at some point you reconsider. Please remember all the “friends” you have made around the world. Your “frapper” just astounded me, and I was so proud to be part of it! Not to mention so excited for you and your successes. Hope to hear from you, Ryan and Jen, at some point in the future. Thanks for all you have done! I miss you already.

  24. Steph says:

Just gotta add my 2 cents and tell you how wonderful you guys were. Me and other LOST geeks in my circle will dearly miss you. The LOST universe just got a lot smaller 🙁

  25. Shaun says:

Listened to you guys from nearly the beginning. It became a weekly routine just like watching the show Lost itself. Sorry to see you guys move on, but from the way it sounds it was the best decision for you both. No matter what you might think, it sounds like I’m not the only one who like to hear from both of you again. Even if it was monthly, you have a podcast subscriber. I’ll be waiting. Best of luck to you and your family.

  26. ryan and jen,
thanks for the many fun afternoons we had listening to you two. luckily we have been “saving up” some of your podcasts in prep for a crosscountry trip we are embarking on tomorrow (san francisco -> brooklyn by way of many nat’l parks).. but are sad that there will be no chance to call in from the road. well at least the episodes have been great and i hope you are both still having fun watching! you will be remembered as true inspirations.
    love,
    p n j

  27. James says:

Man, I liked listening to the podcast more than watching the show. Hope you get a chance to do another one in the future!

  28. CarrieB says:

    Hey Ryan and Jen,
I just want to express my gratitude for all of your hard work and generosity. I have three kids too and somedays I’m so busy I can barely breath. I don’t know how you do all that you do. I’ll miss standing at my scrapbooking table listening to the Transmission as I kept my hands busy and my mind expanding. That was my favorite way to grab a few moments for myself each week. I completely understand the need to sometimes take a step back from over-committing. Best wishes in everything you do. I’ll miss you!

  29. Tedman says:

I just want to say thank you Ryan and Jen. You will be missed.

  30. Cream says:

I’m so gonna miss you guys.. 🙁 Your podcast was the best.

  31. Thanks so much guys. I wish you the best, and may your next endeavor be as meaningful, be as fun, and draw you together as much as this one has. Take care!

  32. KiltedYaksman says:

Ryan and Jen, you’re breaking my heart. Before you, Lost was just a fun little show about some wacky castaways, and now I can’t watch an episode without hitting pause or rewind at least 5 times. I’m sure I’m not the only casual fan that you turned into an absolute junkie, and we all thank you for your work.

  33. MarkMc says:

Thanks for the podcast guys, you were one of the 1st podcasts I downloaded and set the bar high for all those that I have heard since. Your podcast really made the show much better, and that speaks very highly of your talents and well thought out commentary you delivered each week.

While I hate to see you go I have to give kudos for pulling the plug knowing that you couldn’t continue the high quality podcasts you guys got us fans used to.

    Cheers and Aloha!

  34. George says:

Ryan and Jen you seriously made watching Lost a better experience for all of us. Your insights into the characters and the show, and simply the gentle sounds of your voices have been wonderful to listen to. I wish you and your family all the best in the future. Hope to hear more from you guys in the future… maybe you could make a comeback tour in Season 3/4 when things hopefully get really interesting. Goodbye for now from Melbourne, Australia.

  35. Bill in Moorestown says:

Hey guys, I’ve been checking back every few weeks and now I find this. Its very sad but like everyone else understand. I’ll miss your lost podcast very much. Have a nice week!

  36. Jim Reimann says:

    Jen and Ryan:

As a member of a couple that does a Podcast for Runners, I understand the time commitment that it takes to do a Podcast. But with that said, you two did a fantastic job on the LOST show. I could always impress my friends with the different theories that I learned from your show. You two do need to keep in touch, you both have talent and the podcasting world need people like you to keep it alive.

Take care, I will keep you two in my thoughts!

So sad to see the Transmission ending! It was the highlight of my weekly cleaning! Like others have said you were my dirst introduction to podcasts, so you’ve set the bar high in my eyes! You’ll be missed here in Eastern Canada!

Good luck in your future endeavors…oh and Jen, you have a fabulous broadcasting voice, I hope you pursue that!

  39. tyler s. says:

  41. Maggie says:

    Hi Ryan and Jen,
I have been a listener from the beginning and this was my first LOST podcast. I have been in England student teaching so I am cut off from LOST and all the podcasts I have come to love listening to, the Transmission especially. I subscribed to HawaiiUp because I missed hearing your voices. I am very sad you are stopping the Transmission.

    Thanks for everything.
