Show nineteen brings a double-bill in the music department. In addition to an update on the boys, my wife confesses her love of cheesy 80s movies, and I dig into the HawaiiUP mailbag (or inbox).

    Hi Ryan,

    Hello Ryan and family!

I’ve been listening to your podcasts for quite a while, even before iTunes. You even tag along on my long ride home thanks to the iPod and iTrip. Don’t remember how I found you but my beautiful girlfriend is from your wonderful island so I love all things Hawaiian 🙂 Keep up the good work. Can’t wait for the next installment.

    Have a wonderful day

    Mario

    Hey, Ryan:

Aloha! I really like how you start of your podcast with news headlines from Hawai’i. Your comments are always on the mark and has merit. For this reason, I am hoping that you will make comment regarding the recent ruling against the Kamehameha Schools admission policy in your upcoming podcast. In additon to that, it would be great if you could also make comment on some letters to the editors from both of Honolulu’s daily newspapers–some of the letters from non-supporters of said ruling are amaizingly misinformed–especially in today’s newspaper (8/5/05). Your Hawaiian-perspective would be much appreciated. Hey, this could be a whole new podcast–A Letters to the Editor Personal Response Podcast show…maybe not.

    Me ke aloha,
    Keoni
