Hi guys. Longtime listener, first-time commenter, I just wanted to comment on what you said about it being unrealistic that Sawyer wouldn't realize the gun wasn't on his pants as soon as he put them on. On the one hand, I agree with you. My husband has his concealed carry license and he is very conscious of whether or not he has his gun with him. However, I could also see that it could go the other way. It's like you don't realize you forgot to put on your watch until you go to check the time. So, rather than unbelievable, I would say it is plausible, though annoying.
Also, while I wasn't sorry to see Ana-Lucia and Libby go (and I have to admit, I still get a twisted pleasure watching her be shot. I didn't love to hate her, I just hated her) I am very glad I wasn't spoiled for that. It would have really ruined the moment so I'm glad I didn't know about that.
And, to agree with a previous poster, I think Michael's story has a good sense of closure now. I never liked Michael as a character, but I feel like I can respect him now after revisiting his story and the way he gave himself to try and save the others.
Love the show. Thanks for holding me over during the hiatus.

Sorry for the serial posts, but I wanted to comment on Michael too. After re-watching S4 I feel like Michael's resolution was fitting. He screwed over the 815ers and he redeemed himself by insuring at least some of them survived the Freighter's foray. I think issues that do still remain are Walt's issues as this show is always about Daddy Issues, not Son Issues.

Thanks for the podcast guys. One quick note -- father and son doctors working together in the same specialty and the same hospital is pretty common. My hubby's a surgeon and of the 14 surgeons there are 2 doctor/son combos. Where the next generation ends up is yet to be determined, but I wouldn't be surprised if at least one more generation joins the group before it's all said and done.

Good stuff!

I cannot wait to see the original DHARMA Initiative on island and whoever is working for Widmore off island. I'm extremely interested to find out more about characters like Alpert, Montand, Straume, Abaddon, Radzinsky, and Ms. Hawking.

I'm already dreading the wait for season 6. :|
