  1. This has been the best week of my life until now. I always wanted to call in but never did. Now im regreting it. Anyways thanks for the ride. You guys are great.

    Thanks You

  2. redfraggle says:

Thanks so much for all that you have done. Your podcast is the only one that I get excited for each week. I’ve tried many podcasts and it is the only one that has real factual knowledge from the island. No other podcast can give the real Hawaiian knowledge.

We will definitely miss you and I will miss cleaning once a week to your podcast.

Hope to see you on the Fuselage!

  3. Stu says:

Thank you two for the great show while it lasted. While there are other Lost podcasts out there, it just won’t be the same without you guys. You will be missed

  4. Will says:

    I want to cry.

  5. Mike says:

OMG! I can’t believe my favorite podcast is gone. To be honest, I don’t know how you found the time to make such a great podcast is such a short time and have it ready for everyone the very next day. I guess that’s one reason why the show is no more.

Thanx for all you time and I look forward to hearing from you maybe as a call-in on some of the other podcasts.

  6. Will says:

    …but I’m at work.

  7. Neel says:

    Ryan & Jen,

Thank you so much for taking the time to produce the best podcast out there. I can honestly say that every Thursday, I looked forward to hearing the both of you discuss my favorite show. I’m surely going to miss the both of you. Best of luck in everything, and thank you again.

  8. Jon in Chicago says:

    Jen and Ryan:
After watching Lost each week, I looked forward to hearing your discussion on the podcast. It’s going to be quite a loss on Thursdays from here on out.
Thanks for the weeks of enjoyment and I hope that you’ll be doing even more rewarding and enjoyable things with your time.

Congratulations Jen and Ryan, for making a television show so much more important than it should be.

You did this splendidly by creating a community of people who not only love Lost but who love you both so much.

I really enjoyed knowing that you were in Hawaii ( you could do anything in hawaii and it would be ok by me ). except speeding of course 😉

And that you have such respect for our theories and ideas and even our random thoughts, but most of all for our intense love of the show.

I will miss you both so much, I just began listening and just began thinking of the show in so many different ways.

Best of luck to you both and your wonderful family. I will miss you much. carol-anne

  11. Benny says:

Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for everything Ryan & Jen. You guys put in so much effort and it really shone through. You will be sorely missed. Thanks again.

  12. groonk says:

ok guys, you don’t know me but I’ve been listening to your podcast since about this time last year. Is weird but I kinda got used to hearing you guys and your the Lost Podcast every week during Lost season.

But I do understand that delicate balance between “real world” and “net world”. Maybe some time in the distant future you can rejoin the Lost pod-waves, eh?

    Thanks for the great show!

Take care and see you around on the interwub.

    Mahalo,
    HMJ aka Hubie

  13. Drew says:

Man, this podcast was definitely my new favorite. Sad to see you guys go. Take care.

Thanks for a great show. It’ll definitely be missed.

  16. Marc James says:

I really looked forward to The Transmission every week and came to know Ryan and Jenn as friends and familiar voices, even though I’ve never spoke to them. It’s really sad to see this and I think having this podcast is half of what made the show so great. You’ll be missed. 🙁

  17. Nathan says:

You guys are killing me. I wish you wouldn’t quit but, well, thanks for all the fun. So long, we’ll all miss you – a lot!

  18. Lianne says:

Oh No! The Transmission was my favorite podcast, Lost or otherwise. I will really miss you. Yours was the best produced, least sarcastic of the Lost podcasts. Good luck and please keep sending in the cast sightings.

  19. Christiane from Germany says:

    Dear Ryan and Jen,

thank you so much for all the effort it took to deliver each week such a great podcast. It was my first podcast ever and ever and I am so sad to let it go. 🙁

    Christiane

  20. Erica says:

    Ryan and Jen,
I have recently told all my LOST buddies to listen to you guys. I am so sad you are leaving the LOST podcast world. I eagerly downloaded your show every Thursday morning and would listen as I drove my son to and from daycare. I think I was beginning to enjoy your podcast more than the actual show!

I listen to other LOST podcasts, but none are as good as yours. I can only hope that you’ll miss this so much that you’ll decide to return in the future. Until then, a big Mahalo for all your hard work and addition to the LOST community.

  21. Ben from Ireland says:

Sorry to hear you two are off the air! Surely the greatest media husband & wife since Richard and Judy (sorry for the UK reference).

Good luck and God Bless for whatever you plan to do next.

P.S. If I win the lottery this week, what would you charge me to commission you to put the show on again? :0)

  22. Derek says:

    All good things must end.

Thanks for all the hard work you put in to your podcast. I thoroughly enjoyed your discussion, speculation and listener comments. Great job, guys.

  23. MARk says:

awww dang guys… I have to say I’ve been with you since the beginning. This was my first podcast that I downloaded and I will forever remember your great show.

    Thank you and nameste!

  24. Natalie from Florida says:

    Dear Ryan & Jen

This is so sad! I became so hooked to your Transmission and I always looked forward to it every week. You guys are so professional I thought you were actually broadcasters in real life. Well, good luck to both of you in whatever you end up doing. And thank you very very much for putting up such a wonderful podcast and so professionally produced.

    Adios amigos,

    Natalie

  25. Cornell says:

WOW. I am very VERY saddened that there will no longer be any shows from you two. “The Transmission” has been the best LOST podcast out there, hands down. You two have done a fabulous job of keeping your show fresh and tidy, never too long and never over-analyzing every aspect of LOST. And I know for a fact that no other show will be able to provide the on-location insights as you have. It’s safe to say that I enjoyed your show tremendously.

Thank you so much the great job you have done. I do realize that it must be a great time commitment for you two, given that you already juggle work, children, marriage, and hawaiiup.com. Best of luck to both of you and I’ll miss you!

    Mahalo,

    Cornell

  26. Clif from London says:

    Ryan and Jen

    Hey Ryan and Jen

Your podcast is really the best one out there,,, when i got the e-mail that says that its over i swear i skipped a heartbeat!!

and i love it when the podcast is long (+1 hour)

i hope its not a financial problem to keep the podcast on-air because that can be solved easily.

    thank you so much.

    Mohammed al.M

  32. MedStudentLostFan says:

Wow, I have never written in but have listened from the beginning. Just wanted to thank you guys soooooo much for all the great podcasts. I always looked foward to listening to you guys and having to hear what your thoughts were about Lost. Again, thank you both so much for everything. Your hard work and effort was so obvious in every single one of your productions. Again, thanks for everything guys. Aloha and thanks again.

I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say that we will miss you just as much, if not more, than you will miss us.

    Again, Thank you!!!!

  33. ofri says:

    Hey Ryan and Jen,

I seriously just got into your show. I think I listened to the first one a week or so ago, maybe even less. I was hooked immediately and have been listening to old podcasts and catching up every time I go for a walk or am running around campus between classes. So you can imagine my disappointment to discover that it’s over! I want to thank you both for keeping it going as long as you did, and for doing such a great job of it. I applaud you for making the tough but wise decision to go out on top rather than allow the quality of the show to deteriorate. Best of luck to you both!

    Cheers,
    Ofri

  34. Martin says:

    Jen & Ryan,

I can’t possibly thank you enough for everything that you have done for me and the LOST community as a whole. You had become such a part of my LOST experience. It will not be the same. Friday mornings were like Christmas for me running to the computer to see if I got the new episode.

    You will be sadly missed.

    THANK YOU BOTH!

  35. Carla says:

I’m so sad to hear you guys are leaving the podcast world but I wanted to say that I loved your show while it lasted. I will miss you two a TON! I was wondering, are you still keeping up with the network? I’d love to help if I can. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

all your hard work was appreciated. thanks for doing it.

  42. Krista says:

hey, even though I came in pretty late and only heard about six episodes of your podcast, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for all of your hard work at sharing the joys of “Lost” with the world. your podcast was the first one I happened upon while searching iTunes, and I’m really glad yours was the one I found! listening to The Transmission helped pass the time for me while riding the bus to and from school. it also gave me several good theories to think about and share with my family. you will be missed. thanks again, and good luck in the future!

  43. Graham in Scotland says:

  45. Dan says:

Aw, man. I’ve been listening since about the second episode. Sorry you can’t keep it up–this is the best Lost podcast out there, by far (way better than that snarky official podcast). With this I never needed to scour the Web for info. How am I going to get all my Losty goodness every Thursday without Ryan and Jen?

    Thanks for months of fun.

  46. John says:

Wow, I just added you guys to my PSP with the new wi-fi RSS stream update, although I’ve been listen for monthes. You guys have been my #1 podcast since I entered the podcasting world. You have been so great and have created one of the greatest podcasts on the internet. I was truely sad all day long after listening this morning. I just hope that this has nothing to do with Ryan’s health. Aloha Jen and Ryan and thank you for the podcast!

  47. james says:

Your podcast is by far the best I’ve listened to and I’ll forever miss hearing some awesome theories from you and the fans. There isn’t anywhere else where I can see an organized list of theories and ideas and spoilers. Good luck in the future. And if you ever decide to come back, you better email me!

    Aloha

  50. Bonnie says:
