As great as the movie GREASE is, the accompanying soundtrack album is a must, a classic. Spawned 4 huge top 40 hits in 1978: "Grease" by Frankie Valli; "You're the One That I Want" by John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John; "Hopelessly Devoted to You" by Olivia Newton John and "Summer Nights" by John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John; The tracks by Sha Na Na are fun too - those are the songs heard at the dance; Frankie Avalon does a good job with "Beauty School Dropout"; Avalon was actually there in the 1950s when his single "Venus" hit the top of the charts in 1959.
