Hey Ryan,
Just listening now to the Jen's top 5 NY movies POP.

Did you know that:

1 The Melanie Griffith and Joan Cusak charaters are actually from Staten Island (note the ferry rides to work). Quite a bit less "NY" than Brooklyn (ti's almost New Jersey).

2 The setting for Rosemary's Baby (and where it was actually shot) is in The Dakota, an grand old apt building that dates from the early 1800s. It's been the home to Leaonard Bernstein, Rudolf Nureyev, and many others. Including John Lennon (it was where he was shot). Yoko still lives there.

Great selections altogether, Jen.

A hui ho!

Any chance we might see some "The Transmission" t-shirts? That way the wife and I could have a set. It would be great advertising! You'd have HawaiiUp and the Transmission walking the malls of Texas.

Good lord, NemesisVex, I think you're right! In my head I was thinking, "Are you talkin' to me? Are you... talkin' to me?" But that line came out instead. Must've had imagery of taxis running amok through my head.

"I'm walking here, I'm walking here" is from "Midnight Cowboy", isn't it? I just watched the AFI 100 Top Movie Quotes last night, and it ranked 27.
